Hi and welcome to the Rosenblum Law client evidence submission page! Here is your opportunity to submit any evidence to us in written, photo or video format that you feel may be helpful to your case. This includes telling us your traffic ticket story.
Two important reminders:
- Traffic violations are “strict liability offenses” which means that the prosecution must prove you did what they say you did, and excuses or explanations (e.g. “I had to go to the bathroom really badly”) are not a defense. Other than cross-examination and legal arguments that your lawyer will present in court, the only information you can submit that will help is compelling proof that you did not do what they are accusing you of.
- Your lawyer has full discretion as to whether or not to use the evidence you’ve provided us. A trial lawyer has to “think on his feet” and make the best legal arguments based on the evidence presented. While as a layperson certain evidence may seem helpful to your case (e.g. a dash cam video), your lawyer may believe that the evidence hurts your case more than it helps it and may decide not to present it.
